Directions:
- Add all the ingredients into a jar with lid, mix to combine.

This mix matches any soup taste, because the flavor isn’t too strong, but actually balanced. I also add a few crushed coriander seeds (optional), then mix them all with a mix of lightly toasted seeds – crushed hazelnuts, nigella, sesame, and pumpkin seeds. The result is a gorgeous flavored spice and seeds mix that you can you for soups, stews and salad, whenever you need a little twist with healthy effects.
Lemon:
Lemon boosts immunity, detoxifies the body, and provides a nice dose of food-based vitamin C. Adding lemon juice to your soup will help to keep your immune system strong while bringing lightness and flavor.
Ginger:
Ginger is so essential for healing and digestion. Ginger provides upset stomach and digestive relief, warms you up, and lessens aches and pains associated with colds and flu. Ginger is a great expectorant and will help break up mucus in the lungs as well as soothe even the most painful sore throats. Ginger root is also anti-inflammatory, anti-septic, anti-viral, anti-histamine, it’s powerful! Ginger relieves body aches and pains, and settles the stomach.
Turmeric:
Turmeric is a powerful anti-inflammatory root that can help to decrease muscle soreness after an intense workout. It also helps detox the liver and neutralizes free radicals which can lead to wrinkles, cellulite, and fatigue. The list of health benefits associated with turmeric is constantly growing as new studies emerge, and includes lowering cholesterol, cancer prevention, reducing the severity of bacterial and viral infections and providing relief for rheumatoid arthritis, among other things.
Cinnamon:
So wonderful in this cleansing soup! Cinnamon has a distinct flavor, boldly delicious scent and aids in balancing blood sugar levels while stimulating digestion. It’s also a natural sweetener – add cinnamon to your smoothie, oatmeal, granola, coffee, baked goods and even soup.
Cayenne Pepper:
I add the tiniest bit of cayenne to many dishes. While it’s optional, I really love the dose of heat and flavor from cayenne because I don’t have to add as much salt when there is enough spiciness. Not a ton of spiciness, just enough for noticeable flavor. Cayenne Pepper is known to rev up your metabolism and helps with congestion. Goodbye stuffy nose!
Nigella is full of digestive benefits. Improves your respiratory system of the body. It is a strong natural anti-oxidant, improves liver and kidney functions and it is full of healing properties which can help in relieving migraine, chronic colds, asthma and many more. It also aids in weight loss.
Coriander controls blood sugars, cholesterol & blood pressure.
