03/15/2021 - Conscious Cooking - Daal Dhokli (by applying ayurvedic principles and six tastes)
"You are what you eat”, but I say “You are what you absorb”. Let us pause and think about the source and the consciousness in which our food is made - much is involved. Come and get involved in this great art of conscious cooking. Join us for a hands-on cooking experience. In this session, we will make Daal Dhokli (wheat flour pasta in Lentil Soup). We will also be making the pasta from scratch. Daal Dhokli is a western-region dish from India made by boiling thick wheat flour pasta in a pigeon pea stew.
No previous experience in cooking is necessary. An enthusiasm to learn and hungry appetite to create some delicious food is all that is needed!
