04/13/2020 - Ayurvedic Khichadi Cleanse to rejuvenate and restore
Feeling a little unbalanced? Want to experience more energy, strong digestion, fewer cravings and glowing skin? Seasonal transitions are the perfect time for a physical, mental and spiritual tune-up. In this workshop, we will learn how to do a gentle, food-based cleanse specifically designed for the transitional season of spring. I will demonstrate and make “khichadi” – a traditional stew of dal, rice and mild spices – which kindles the digestive fire and promotes removal of toxins.

This simple cleanse plan has two main components:
- Eat khichadi, Ayurveda’s powerful healing food, for 3 days.
- Align with the rhythm of nature with a dinacharya - or daily routine - that supports you to feel your best.
